you cant diss the harbor freight gun. ya its not top notch but it works. the only difference ive found is that some of the more high end guns have an internal part I have nothing against Harbor Freight and have not used their spraygun. I do buy a lot of HF stuff for things that I need but will not use often.

It had ancient/multi-patched monokote on the wing. I recovered with polyspan and medium silkspan on the wingtips and Brodak dope. Even using the Harbor Freight purple HVLP gun and the Harbor Freight detail gun, I only added 1.5 oz with my recover/refinish (through clear coat over the colors).

Nov 13, 2012 · I used a dry wall hopper gun from Harbor Freight for $20. There is a huge difference between rolling it and spraying it. After spraying it once I'll always spray liner from now on. I've rolled two Jeeps and sprayed two with Herculiner. I will also say I have sprayed two Jeeps with Al's Liner and will never go back to Heculiner.

Used the Harbor Freight US on a modern sporting rifle bolt carrier group. Used the Hornady solution, and ran tree cycles. Was as clean as the day I bought the rifle. I wouldn't do it a lot, but this particular BCG was giving me trouble, even though I clean it after every use. Since then 200+ rounds without issue.

Jul 07, 2009 · I just ordered the Devilbiss plus(GFG-670). I have sprayed lots of primer with my harbor freight gun. There guns are CHEAP and the one I have came with a 1.8 tip which sprays the primer on thick. I have used a Sata before to paint a hood and bumper. Other then that, I havent painted anything.

just the standard 15 $ purple harbor freight gun. Not the stainless and purple 1s. I wouldnt imagine the threads are any different though. I use the same adapter for my husky guns and they also fit the warwick 904s. I just went to the local paint shop and told him i needed a pps adapter for a central pneumatic ( harbor freight gun) and he ordered me the number 2s. A website sais # 21 fits the mini.
You can ususally end up with the same results on a lower end spray gun with more work on the painter. a spray gun doesn't make the painter, the painter makes the spray gun and if you don't know how to use the spray gun correctly, none of them will do you any good. Also if you want to be a good consistent painter invest in a Zahn mixing cup. Jim

I've been a painter most of my life and I'ved used them all, Binks, Graco, Sato. This HF gun sprays as good as my 600.00 Devilbiss when new but it won't last forever.

The best way to get good results though is to ditch the rattle can and use an hvlp spray gun. You can get a setup at Harbor Freight for very inexpensive. You will save on paint for all future projects as well, as rattle cans are more expensive for the actual amount of paint you get in them.
